Little Rock, Ark.-based Baptist Health acquired Magnolia (Ark.) Regional Medical Center on July 12. With the close of the acquisition, the 25-bed facility has been rebranded as Baptist Health Medical Center-Magnolia. Magnolia became Baptist Health’s 14th hospital and the second acquired in less than one month. On June 14, Baptist completed its acquisition of South Arkansas Regional Hospital, a 151-bed hospital based in El Dorado.
