In an exciting step forward for local healthcare, Black River Memorial Hospital (BRMH) and Krohn Clinic are joining to create Black River Health, effective December 30, 2024. The decision to combine comes in response to growing health challenges with Jackson County faring worse than the average county in Wisconsin for health outcomes. BRMH and Krohn Clinic are committed to addressing these issues by ensuring that healthcare remains local, high-quality, and comprehensive. Krohn Clinic is an independent multi-specialty primary care clinic that has been serving area residents since 1932. Incorporated since 1966, BRMH is a non-profit, medical facility which includes a 25-bed critical access hospital and offers multiple specialties on an outpatient basis.
