Irving, Texas-based Christus Health has been selected as the strategic partner for Titus Regional Medical Center, following a board vote to proceed with the sale of the independent hospital. The board of managers at Mount Pleasant, Texas-based Titus Regional Medical Center, a 174-bed hospital, voted Feb. 2 to move forward with the transaction after what the organization described as a “deliberate, comprehensive evaluation” of its long-term options. In a statement provided to Becker’s, Titus Regional said the decision reflects a focus on long-term sustainability, expanded access to specialty services and continued investment in high-quality care for the community.
