Lancaster-based Fairfield Medical Center and Chillicothe-based Adena Health have agreed to a nonbinding letter of intent to explore the possibility of a formal partnership. The two non-profit healthcare organizations will begin due diligence to evaluate compatibility and opportunities for collaborative growth. As independent community health systems serving patients across southeastern and south central Ohio, FMC and Adena recognize the importance of nurturing strong regional networks. This proposed affiliation reflects their shared commitment to expanding services and strengthening access to local, high-quality care.
