The Federal Trade Commission wants the public to suggest regulations to revoke as part of President Donald Trump’s far-reaching deregulation agenda. The FTC issued a formal request for information seeking suggestions for federal rules deemed ‘anticompetitive’ as a follow up to an executive order Trump signed last Wednesday. Submissions are due May 27. “Regulations that reduce competition, entrepreneurship and innovation can hamper the American economy,” FTC Chair Andrew Ferguson said in a news release. “These need to be eliminated or modified to revitalize a competitive market.”
