The HLTH conference featured a great deal of excitement and anxiety about the future. The health technology conference, now in its 8th year, showcased the latest AI tools and the possibility of transforming healthcare. HLTH devoted more floor space, sessions and attention to AI this year, and hospital and healthcare leaders have unabashed enthusiasm for AI’s potential to eventually improve patient care. Still, it didn’t take long to also gauge the frustration and anger over changes in federal health care policy and cuts in federal aid for health programs.
