At a time of slowed growth in hospice due to the national six-month moratorium, federal focus on fraud and other obstacles, one hospice firm appears to be bucking the trend. Nonprofit provider Chapters Health System this week disclosed a joint venture with a home health agency in Florida. This comes on the heels of an affiliation agreement with an Oregon provider and other expansion moves. “While the landscape for healthcare and hospice has grown increasingly difficult over the past few years, Chapters Health’s unique position as a one-of-one entity in the space allows us to capitalize on opportunities for unprecedented growth across the country,” Andrew Molosky, president and chief executive officer of Chapters, told McKnight’s Home Care Daily Pulse in an email.
