LifeStance Health plans to open fewer than 10 new clinic locations in 2024, down from its previous estimate of fewer than 20 new sites. On an Aug. 8 investor call transcribed by Seeking Alpha, CFO Dan Bourdon told investors the change was to reflect an “increased emphasis on profitable growth and disciplined capital deployment.” Scottsdale, Ariz.-based LifeStance, founded in 2017, operates 575 centers in 33 states. The company closed 82 clinic locations in 2023, executives previously said.
