Publicly traded home care companies are looking at tuck-in and larger deals as momentum builds for mergers and acquisitions, according to Mertz Taggart’s quarterly report on activity among key players in the sector. The report lists recent activity for several companies on the M&A front. Addus HomeCare became the largest personal care provider in Texas with the $350 million acquisition of Gentiva’s personal care operations, the Fort Myers, FL-based investment bank said. In addition to Texas, the company entered the Missouri market for the first time.
