Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. has completed its acquisition of Ultradent Products, Inc., making the Utah-based dental products company a wholly owned subsidiary. Ultradent develops, manufactures, and sells dental products, including whitening products and restorative materials, primarily in the Americas. Mitsui Chemicals said it plans to use the acquisition to strengthen and grow its U.S. oral care business and establish the business as the third earnings pillar of its Life & Healthcare Solutions segment.
