Traverse City, Michigan-based North Arrow ABA sold to a trust to create a 100% employee-owned applied behavior analysis (ABA) practice, a rarity in an industry that is dominated by founder-owners or private equity firms. The company’s owners — Jonathan Timm (founder and clinical executive) and Michael Dow (executive director) — are veterans of private equity-led exits. Both were previously leaders at Autism Centers of Michigan. Dow was a part owner. That company sold to Acorn Health in 2018.
