Partners HealthCare has joined up with a concierge physician practice, advancing plans to grow further into the state’s suburbs. The health system, which is rebranding itself as Mass General Brigham, announced Wednesday that it would clinically integrate with One Medical, a membership-based primary care platform that has two locations in Boston and plans additional ones in eastern Massachusetts. As part of the plans, One Medical will become part of Partners Community Physicians Organization, which will negotiate insurer contracts on behalf of the physician group, a Partners spokesman said. It was unclear if only the Massachusetts-based locations of One Medical would integrate with Partners, or if others that are part of the San Francisco-based brand are also involved.
