Premise Health, a workplace primary care provider backed by OMERS, sees more consolidation opportunities as the sector reshapes, COO Beth Ratliff tells Axios. Premise is weighing both horizontal and vertical M&A. While retail plays and Medicare Advantage-focused primary care businesses have faltered, Premise has seen its “biggest growth years ever,” says exec Ryan Donnelly. “There aren’t a ton of other players in our direct space, meaning direct-to-employer health care services focusing on primary care,” Donnelly says. “Are we open to those conversations? Absolutely. Do we have those conversations? We do.”
