The nation’s largest organization representing home health and hospice providers is calling on the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to restore home health funding for calendar year 2027 following a funding reduction this year. The National Alliance for Care at Home sent a letter this month to CMS Director Mehmet Oz, MD, outlining its recommendations for the upcoming Calendar Year 2027 Medicaid Home Health Prospective Payment System Proposed Rule. The proposed 2027 payment rule is expected in July.
