In the US pharmaceutical industry, there were 25 private equity deals announced in Q3 2024, worth a total value of $2.3bn, according to GlobalData’s Deals Database. In value terms, private equity deal activity in the US decreased by 47% in Q3 2024 compared with the previous quarter’s total of $4.3bn and fell by 43% as compared to Q3 2023. Related deal volume decreased by 14% in Q3 2024 versus the previous quarter and was 9% higher than in Q3 2023.
