A Lancaster County judge on Monday appointed a receiver to oversee the ultimate sale of Retreat Behavioral Health’s sprawling Ephrata inpatient facility and its Akron outpatient facility. The receiver, Ian Lagowitz of California-based Trigild, is also the receiver overseeing sale of Retreat’s New Haven Connecticut facility. Retreat, a for-profit company, operated substance abuse and mental health rehab facilities in three states through a complex web of ownership. A judge in Florida is considering receivership for its facilities there.
