Charlotte, NC-based senior care review and referral service Caring.com has acquired Austin, TX-based competitor SeniorAdvice.com, Caring announced Tuesday morning. Terms were not disclosed. “The SeniorAdvice offering expands our ability to reach and help even more seniors and their family members in their search for the senior living or in-home care option that best meets their needs,” Caring CEO Jim Rosenthal said in a statement. Caring was founded in 2007. Since that time, its content, including approximately 250,000 reviews and “hundreds of thousands” of profiles have been used by millions of family caregivers and older adults, according to the firm. SeniorAdvice was founded in 2015 and provides information and reviews for more than 50,000 senior living operators.
