South Carolina Baptist Ministries of Aging has completed the sale of its two senior living communities, Bethea in Darlington and Martha Franks in Laurens, to Covington Investments. The transaction closed July 31, 2026. Operations of both communities are now led by Oakdale Senior Alliance, whose leadership team brings more than 200 years of combined experience in senior living. Oakdale hired the communities’ employees, allowing residents to continue receiving support from the teams they know.
