Sonida Senior Living continues to integrate former CNL Healthcare Properties communities into its operating platform following the completion of its $1.8 billion merger with the non-traded real estate investment trust earlier this year, which doubled the number of units under its control and made it the eighth largest senior living company in the country. Sonida is under contract to acquire approximately $88 million in senior living properties in “attractive markets and well-located buildings,” President and CEO Brandon Ribar said. “The pipeline is very consistent with the assets that we were purchasing in 2024 and 2025. There are some that have a little bit heavier lift to them and definitely a risk-adjusted return that’s stronger,” he said.
