Akron, Ohio-based Summa Health has named the first eight technology companies it will work with under a transformation plan led by its owner, General Catalyst’s Health Assurance Transformation Co. The companies are Aidoc, Clarium, Commure, Fabric, Hippocratic AI, Judi Health, Transcarent and Verse Medical, according to a news release shared with Becker’s. All eight are backed by General Catalyst. HATCo is also working with Percepta, a General Catalyst transformation company, to build what the release calls a Health System Command Center, intended to link the eight vendors into a single operating layer for hospital operations.
