Healthcare staffing firms are feeling pressure on margins, and the industry is stabilizing after the post-pandemic high. However, one of the most important stories is the changes the industry is undergoing with tech, including AI. “Maybe the biggest trend going on is technology affecting healthcare staffing,” SIA Chief Analyst Barry Asin said in an opening keynote at the Healthcare Staffing Summit in Las Vegas. And healthcare staffing executives are equipping themselves. SIA data found that 76% of healthcare staffing firms plan to increase spending on technology in the next 12 months. The average they plan to increase spend is 8%.
