President Trump signed an executive order Tuesday that he said would lower prescription drug prices for many Americans, including people on Medicare. The order resurrected some policies from Trump’s first administration, such as a mandate to community health centers to provide insulin and injectable epinephrine at discounted rates to uninsured and some low-income patients. The Biden administration rescinded this rule in 2021, saying it would be excessively burdensome to health centers.
