UConn Health has formally begun proceedings to bring Bristol Hospital and Day Kimball Hospital into its expanding statewide hospital network. A public notice posted by UConn Health says the UConn Health Community System, doing business as UConn Health Community Network, will seek state approval to integrate Bristol Hospital and Day Kimball Hospital and their certain affiliated entities. If approved, Bristol Hospital and Health Care Group and Day Kimball Healthcare Foundation would become members of the UConn Health Community Network. The hospitals would join UConn Health Waterbury Hospital in the network.
