Walmart Health is pulling back on parts of its plan to open dozens of new health centers this year. The mega-retailer said last year it would add more than 30 health centers across four states in 2024, but that number has since been reduced to 22 in two states, a spokesperson said Wednesday. Walmart is set to open four health centers in the Houston area this month and will roll out more clinics throughout the summer and fall, the spokesperson said. It plans to add eight total health centers in the Houston metro area, 10 in the Dallas/Fort Worth region and four in the Kansas City market by the end of the year.
