Ochsner Health announced Wednesday it has acquired Diamondhead Urgent Care, giving the hospital system a bigger footprint in Hancock County. Diamondhead Urgent Care will become one of two Ochsner locations that provide urgent care services, along with Ochsner Health Center – Port Bienville. The company also acquired the former Hancock Medical Center in Bay St. Louis, now Ochsner Medical Center — Hancock. The Diamondhead facility will provide urgent care services, including after hours and weekend access to healthcare. This acquisition represents a sizable, $3 million, investment in the Diamondhead community.
