Danaher Life Sciences’ interest in contract manufacturer Catalent appears to have fizzled for the moment, according to Bloomberg News. The life sciences conglomerate has stopped its pursuit of Catalent and is no long considering a takeover, Bloomberg reported Monday afternoon, citing people familiar with the matter. It’s possible that Danaher could try and revive a deal conversation later, the publication said. Bloomberg reported back in February that Danaher has expressed interest in acquiring Catalent, but at the time it wasn’t clear how the deal would move forward or if there had been any meaningful talks between the companies.
