Lovelace Medical Group on Tuesday closed a deal to acquire Head and Neck Surgeons of New Mexico. The specialty care firm, which treats the ear, nose and throat, is now part of Lovelace’s statewide care network. Dr. Jason Mudd, a physician at the former Head and Neck Surgeons of New Mexico (HNSNM), confirmed the transaction. As part of the acquisition, Head and Neck Surgeons of New Mexico is now called Lovelace Medical Group Ear Nose and Throat. A total of 21 HNSNM employees are now part of Lovelace Health System’s workforce of more than 4,200 in New Mexico.
