St. Louis-based Ascension is implementing a strategy to improve its financial health, continue investments, and evaluate its portfolio and future geographic footprint. In a conversation with Becker’s, Ascension President Eduardo Conrado discussed this strategy and provided insights into the health system’s outlook. He noted that he has been focused on strategy throughout his tenure at Ascension; Mr. Conrado has served as its president since February 2023. Before that, he served as executive vice president and chief strategy and innovation officer for the health system.
