The American Medical Association’s members tackled issues ranging from private equity ownership of practices to public health and artificial intelligence during the group’s annual meeting in Chicago this week. It has been an unsettling six months for healthcare and on Monday, Health and Human Services Department Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., dismissed the federal vaccine advisory council. The AMA’s House of Delegates passed an emergency resolution during the conference calling for a Senate investigation into the decision.
