Pittsburgh-based UPMC is negotiating to acquire three Ohio hospitals, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Sept. 22. The deal would also include two urgent care centers and a behavioral health and physician office building from Steubenville, Ohio-based Trinity Health System, according to the report, citing three people familiar with the plans who were unauthorized to speak publicly. Trinity Health System is part of Chicago-based CommonSpirit.
