Houston-based nonprofit continuing care retirement / life plan community The Buckingham has accepted a $133 million bid that will allow Focus Healthcare Partners to acquire the community out of bankruptcy. The Buckingham filed for Chapter 11 protection in November, marking the second time in four years it had done so. The CCRC previously filed for bankruptcy in 2021.
