Care Career acquired IDR Healthcare — a spinoff of staffing firm IDR — in a move that adds an education staffing business to Care Career, bolsters its travel nurse operations and expands its presence into the Southeast US. The deal is Care Career’s sixth acquisition in the past 18 months. IDR Healthcare provides travel nursing and travel allied staffing as well as clinical and nonclinical search services for healthcare clients. It also has an education staffing business focused on providing schools with professionals such as school nurses, speech/language pathologists, occupational therapists and behavioral health technicians.
