A new senior living community joined the Buckner family. Parkwood is an independent living community in Bedford, Texas, located between Dallas and Fort Worth. The acquisition was a joint venture between Buckner Retirement Services and Presbyterian Homes & Services, a faith-based senior living provider headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Though owned jointly, Buckner will exclusively manage the day-to-day operations of the community under a new subsidiary named Signature Buckner Management Group.
