Florida-based organizations Empath Health and Trustbridge have completed their affiliation in a move aimed at bolstering timely access to hospice and home-based care. Through the affiliation, the combined organization Empath Trustbridge Hospice now serves one-in-five hospice patients daily in the state, making it one of the largest nonprofit providers in that region. The integration process has been two years in the making and marks a significant milestone of expanded patient reach, according to Empath Health COO Tarrah Lowry.
