Birmingham, Alabama-headquartered addiction treatment provider Recover Now has merged with Widespread Wellness, a mental health and substance use disorder treatment provider with facilities in Tennessee, Georgia and Florida. Recover Now will operate treatment facilities in five states total and plans to add 142 new beds and over 100 new roles post-transaction throughout the next two years. The deal also introduces a first for the company’s portfolio: a primary mental health residential facility in Nashville, Tennessee. Diversification of the company’s services has been a recent focus for Recover Now executives and this deal expands that momentum.
