Kayne Anderson Real Estate, the real estate private equity arm of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors LP, has closed Kayne Anderson Real Estate Partners VII LP with $5.12 billion in capital commitments, making it the largest opportunistic equity fund in the firm’s history. KAREP VII will target investments across medical office, senior housing, student housing and light industrial assets, building on the firm’s existing investment track record in those sectors.
