Healthcare Dealflow Uncovers McKesson’s Planned Acquisition of Spectrum Vision Partners

Ophthalmology platform PRISM Vision, a McKesson subsidiary since April 2025, is set to acquire Spectrum Vision Partners from Blue Sea Capital, according to documents reviewed by Healthcare Dealflow, an M&A intelligence platform that tracks deals, trends, and investment activity across the healthcare sector. As of this publication (August 26, 2026), the transaction has not been reported elsewhere and neither party has issued a press release.

Spectrum Vision Partners is a leading eye care MSO headquartered in New York with more than 50 ophthalmology practices, 5+ ambulatory surgery centers, and 140+ doctors across 5 states in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions. Its flagship practice is OCLI Vision. It has been backed by Blue Sea Capital since 2017.

Healthcare Dealflow identified the pending acquisition through a Certificate of Need determination request filed August 17, 2026 with the Connecticut Office of Health Strategy. The filing was made by a Connecticut facility affiliated with Spectrum Vision Partners and describes both the pre- and post-transaction organizational hierarchy, showing the ownership chain from McKesson through US Oncology and PRISM Vision Holdings to the acquiring organization, NJEYE.
