Addus HomeCare is in the market to add to its home health portfolio, but not looking for deals the size of its Gentiva acquisition, Chair and CEO Dirk Allison said Tuesday. Allison told analysts during a first quarter earnings call the Frisco,Texas-based company is primarily looking to buy smaller home health companies in markets where it already offers non-medical home care. Addus HomeCare offers home care, home healthcare and hospice services across 22 states and derives approximately 75% of its revenue from non-medical home care. The company offers care to approximately 40,000 patients.
