The total consideration was GBP 20.5 million, net of cash and inclusive of up to GBP 1.8 million in contingent consideration upon the completion of certain milestones. The acquisition strengthens Azenta’s ability to deliver end-to-end lifecycle solutions in the UK, while expanding its presence in Europe by establishing the UK Biocentre as a European-wide operational hub to support pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, and public health customers across the region.
