Bain Capital is considering selling Tanabe Pharma Corp.’s assets outside of Japan, according to people familiar with the matter. The US private equity firm is working with a financial adviser to prepare for a potential disposal process that might begin next year, the people said, asking not to be identified because the deliberations are private. The assets could be worth around $400 million to $500 million, the people said.
