AppleGate Recovery, a BayMark Health Services company, announced the acquisition of Medication Assisted Recovery Centers (MARC), an office-based opioid treatment (OBOT) program with two locations near New Orleans, LA. The clinics, situated in Metairie and Slidell, provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and recovery services in a physician’s office setting. AppleGate Recovery now operates 8 clinics serving the residents of Louisiana who struggle with opioid use disorder. Our programs provide outpatient MAT with buprenorphine and buprenorphine compounds such as the well-known Suboxone®, as well as Bunavail® and Zubsolv®. These medications, when supported by counseling, provide a comprehensive treatment modality that addresses physical withdrawal symptoms and psychological cravings.
