Bruker, maker of high-performance scientific instruments, is expanding its CRO business through a majority ownership deal with Switzerland-based Biognosys, which produces proteomics solutions for R&D and clinical trials. Under terms of the deal, Biognosys co-founder and CEO Oliver Rinner and other members of the company’s leadership team will remain on board to manage Biognosys, which is known for its proteomics and proteogenomics CRO services and proteomics software.
