Cherokee Regional Medical Center is acquiring a new facility. The medical center said they will be taking over MercyOne’s Primghar Family Medicine at 240 N Rerick Avenue in Primghar. The acquisition will be effective staring Saturday, December 27, 2025. “Moving into Primghar provides us a great opportunity to expand our family medicine footprint within our service area,” stated Cherokee Regional President and CEO Gary Jordan.
