CHRISTUS Health and AdventHealth have agreed on the terms of a binding definitive agreement under which Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) in San Marcos, Texas, along with its subsidiaries, will become part of the CHRISTUS Health system. The transaction is expected to be complete in the spring of 2020. “CTMC is committed to providing excellent care to the San Marcos community, and this transition will best position CTMC to continue to deliver quality care as part of a network of health care facilities in the state,” said Anthony Stahl, president/CEO of Central Texas Medical Center. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals. Until the transaction is complete, CTMC will continue to be part of the AdventHealth system.
