Addus Homecare (Nasdaq: ADUS) has seen sustainable hospice revenue growth. The company’s co-location strategy has been a pillar of its growth, Chairman and CEO Dirk Allison said in an earnings call. Addus for the past several years running has focused its expansion efforts around overlapping its hospice services in existing home health and personal care locations. At about $65.8 million, Addus’ hospice segment accounted for 18.1% of its overall Q1 revenue this year. The company saw 7.7% year-over-year organic hospice revenue growth alongside improved average daily census volumes, which reached 3,804 patients in the first quarter. Addus’ home health service line brought in $16.7 million.
