Greensboro, N.C.-based Cone Health is now the sole owner of HealthTeam Advantage. Cone Health purchased Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health’s stake in the plan, according to an April 15 news release. Novant Health became a co-owner of the plan in 2022. HealthTeam Advantage has more than 22,000 Medicare Advantage members. The plan expanded from seven North Carolina counties to 33 during the time Novant Health co-owned the plan, according to the news release.
