Materials maker Americhem Inc. has acquired Controlled Polymers A/S, a compounder and concentrates maker based in Ribe, Denmark. In a Sept. 1 news release, officials with Americhem in Cuyahoga Falls said that Controlled has been supplying “sustainable polymeric solutions” to some of the largest health care OEMs in the world for more than 30 years. They added that Controlled Polymers “will seamlessly integrate” with Americhem’s Engineered Compounds unit by blending the companies’ product lines together to create “a full range of offerings for the medical plastics industry.”
