Because of this, the number of physician group practices does not reflect the number of radiology practices in the United States. Mayo Clinic Physicians is the largest radiology physician group in the country based on number of physicians, with 5,620 physicians. This physician group also makes the list of physician groups with the highest Medicare payments.
