While overall interest in acute care EHR systems remained strong in 2024, the pace of new purchases and migrations cooled slightly compared to the previous year, according to an April 30 report from KLAS Research. Between January and December 2024, 272 hospitals were affected by EHR purchase decisions, down from 319 hospitals in 2023. Health systems were the primary drivers of those decisions.
