Boston Scientific (BSX.N) said on Thursday the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has requested additional information from the medical device maker related to its $3.7 billion deal to buy Axonics (AXNX.O). In a regulatory filing, Boston Scientific said Axonics has also received a request for additional information from the FTC and both the companies expect to respond promptly.
